You will not find an online shopping cart on my site. The basis of my business is YOU, the customer, and the service I provide. With that said, I demand only the best for you.
The basis of my business does not include mass producing products and selling them online for a huge profit. My goal is to provide quality, personalized prodcuts to new customers that turn into new friends, not simply making a sale online and never meeting the customer. I will always conduct my business in a respectable way, as that is the person I was raised to be.
Payment is expected at the time your order is placed, unless other arrangements have been made. Work will not begin on your item until payment is received.

PayPal is my preferred method of payment. There is no waiting for checks to clear and no phone calls that need to be made. This transaction is free for the customer and is the fastest way to process payments. In addition, it is the SAFEST way for payments. At no point will I ever see your financial information or your credit card numbers. PayPal does require the customer to have an account to process payments. However, the account set up is absolutely free. PayPal allows you to transfer funds from your PayPal account to mine. You may use your checking account, a debit card, or any major credit card. Again, this is simply a money transfer - no account information is ever revealed. I have used PayPal myself for years.
If you do not feel comfortable using an online service, I will provide information for you to phone me directly with your credit card information. I have password protected voice mail so no one will ever hear your information but me.
If paying by personal check, your item will not be released or shipped until I receive the check and it has cleared.
Turnaround Time for Orders
All orders are custom made. Please allow 3 weeks for completion. Many orders are completed before this but please go by the 3 week timeline. Rush orders are available for $10.
Local Pick-up
If you reside in the Dubois County, Indiana area, you may pick up your items at my home. Directions will be given upon completion of your order.
Shipping
Items are gladly shipped to the customer, or gift recipient, if the customer is not local. An e-mail confirmation will be sent once your order has been shipped. All items are shipped using USPS Priority mail, unless otherwise requested. This method has been proven to be the most economical and timely. Estimated arrival time is 2-3 days. Shipping for this service is $5.95* for the first item and $1.00* for each additional item. Insurance is optional and is $1.95/$100 in total merchandise.
Packaging
All jewelry items are sealed in a clear cellophane bag to protect from dust and allergens. This bag is then put inside a black gift box and tied with a silver elastic stretch ribbon. A business card is then attached to the top of each box.
Returns and Repairs
Due to the custom products I offer, returns or exchanges are not accepted.
However, if an item has broken due to manufacturer's defect within 30 days of the original purchase, you may return the item for repair. During the first 30 days of the original purchase, the labor charges to make the repair are waived. The customer will only pay for any beads or pieces lost. Dawn's Designs will pay for return shipping (or will deliver if local) once the piece has been repaired.
Please understand that although I use the highest quality supplies, jewelry is not indestructable. Please do not shower or swim wiht your jewelry, or wear your jewelry when sleeping or while playing sports. Items broken due to normal wear and tear will not be replaced but can be sent back for repair. The customer will be charged for any beads, pieces or supplies used, and a $15
re-string/repair fee. The customer will be charged for the return shipping.
Alterations
The most common alterations on my items are with the name bracelets and birthstone jewelry. In the event of a new child, grandchild, etc., the bracelets can be re-strung and the new name or birthstone added. There is a $15.00 re-stringing fee, along with the cost of the new beads/supplies used.
